Religious Education

Religious Education is a compulsory part of the curriculum.

Syllabus

Based on the County’s agreed syllabus.  A copy can be seen by asking at the College office.

Assemblies

Assemblies include an act of worship that is broadly Christian in character but non-denominational, according to the law.

Withdrawal

Any parent has the right to ask for his/her child to be withdrawn from Religious Education, but before doing so, please look at the syllabus and talk to us about the full implications of withdrawal from this important part of the curriculum.

Parents may withdraw their children from act of worship in Assembly.  They will then take part in other activities.
